SIGNAL — a CRT radio receiver, rendered as text

A tuning dial across two bands of curated music stations, played through YouTube. The display is drawn as a grid of characters on a simulated cathode-ray tube, so the screen itself cannot be read aloud; the station, the track and the power state are announced as they change.

Keys: P powers the set on and off. Left and right arrows tune the dial, and 1 to 9 jump straight to a station. B changes band. S scans. Up and down arrows set the volume, M mutes. N skips to the next track. G opens the guide, which lists every station. V opens the visualiser, L its lyrics view, C changes the phosphor colour, W the weather, T a sleep timer, K copies a link to what is playing, and F goes fullscreen.
